The use of gas energy includes a wide range applications to directly accelerate the liquid in pipeline without aid mechanical equipment, such as marine gas-liquid jet propulsion. To clarify characteristics transfer by interphase forces for flows variable cross-section tubes, two-fluid models annular flow, bubbly flow and homogeneous were adopted, respectively, along with four newly elaborated coefficients, which are work factor fg, reflecting relative ability power liquid, interface coefficient kg (representing magnitude received from gas), work-to-energy conversion kl (denoting capability through performed forces) efficiency ηw. results reveal is strongly influenced structural parameters tubes (or nozzles), an optimized design necessary improve performance. higher degree dispersion more advantageous into liquid’s energy. Of these three patterns, has lowest ηw (kl = 0.0797, 0.9885 present example), while displays limit because momentum coupling reaches maximum 0.9979, 1).
